"STEP BY STEP OF GREATNESS" Saken Seifullin - 130 Years

   This year marks the 130th anniversary of the birth of Saken Seifullin, the founder of Kazakh literature. In honor of this significant date, on October 16th, the library of the Kyzylorda Agrarian Technical Higher College named after I. Abdukarimov, in collaboration with the TEO-24o group from the "Energy and Construction" department, under the guidance of curator M. Karakul, organized a literary-musical evening titled "In the Footsteps of the Great."



    Saken Seifullin is one of the prominent figures in Kazakh literature and culture, a statesman, poet, writer, playwright, and public figure. He will be remembered as one of the historical personalities who made a significant contribution to Kazakh national literature in the early 20th century, as well as one of the key figures in cultural development in Kazakhstan. His works are a spiritual treasure of the people.

    The aim of the event was to introduce the works of S. Seifullin, convey the relevance of his literary, cultural, and historical legacy to the youth, and highlight the poet's role in the history of Kazakhstan. During the evening, videos were shown, an exhibition was organized, and presentations of books dedicated to the life and works of S. Seifullin were held. Students also read poems, performed the poet's monologues, and sang songs.

   This event became an impressive evening, celebrating the spiritual heritage of Saken Seifullin and reminding the younger generation of the importance of his works.
