"Tumanbay's Poems – A Profound Mystery"
On March 26, as part of the month of significant dates, the library staff of the I. Abdikarimov Kyzylorda Polytechnic Higher College organized a poetry hour titled "Tumanbay's Poems – A Profound Mystery" dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the prominent Kazakh poet, People's Writer of Kazakhstan, laureate of the State Prize of Kazakhstan and the International Fuzuli Prize, poet Tumanbay Moldagaliyev.
The purpose of the event: To promote the poet's work, to introduce readers more deeply to Tumanbay Moldagaliyev's poetic world, and to engage youth in literature.
The event was attended by 1st-year students from the "Polytechnic Specialties" department and their group curator S. Zhapbarova, as well as special subject teacher Z. Bekmoldaeva. During the evening, information about the poet's life and work was presented, and his soulful and tender lyrics and patriotic poems were read. Participants expressively recited the poet's poems from memory. In addition, they performed the songs "Native Land" and "About Happiness" written to Tumanbay Moldagaliyev's lyrics, which enhanced the evening. At the end of the event, a video slide show and a special exhibition dedicated to the poet's work were organized, presenting his books and photographs reflecting his life journey to the readers. This event was aimed at attracting young people to literature and promoting spiritual values through popularizing the precious heritage of Kazakh poetry.
