The purpose of psychological service – is to identify the characteristics of the inner world at each stage of child development and guide the formation of their attitude towards themselves, the environment, and their culture of relationships.
Tasks of psychological service:
- Identify problems of children experiencing psychological and socio-psychological difficulties and provide timely assistance;
- Support students' adaptation and guide them until they complete their studies;
- Comprehensively study children with problems, identify the cause, and conduct corrective and developmental work;
- Organize psychological trainings to develop psychological qualities of children with developmental deviations;
- Provide scientific guidance for educational work and organize work to improve the psychological and pedagogical knowledge and skills of each teacher and parents.
Main directions of psychologist's work:
Psychological prevention.
Purpose: to warn about failures in the mental and personal development of an individual.
Psychological diagnostics (research)
Purpose: to study individual and age characteristics, as well as features of interpersonal interaction
Psychocorrection and development. Purpose: to prevent deviations in the student's mental and personal development, develop skills with the general curriculum.
Psychological consultation (advice)
Purpose: to provide advice to subjects of the pedagogical process.
Raising psychological knowledge (education)
Purpose: to raise the psychological culture of participants in the pedagogical process.
