The main directions of the methodological office's work are improving professional competence, qualifications, and skills of teachers to prepare good specialists.
The organization of educational and methodological work and the procedure for conducting scientific and methodological work are carried out in accordance with the management structure adopted by HHOKBU.
The functions of methodological work management are: forecasting, planning, organizing, implementing activities, controlling and correcting educational-methodological and scientific-methodological work. The organization and conduct of educational-methodological and scientific-methodological work are carried out in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
To achieve the goals of the methodological office, the main tasks are performed.
Organization of educational-methodological and scientific-methodological work, the direction of methodological work is planned and scientifically based, including effective organization of the educational process and aimed at implementing education. Methodological work is a set of measures aimed at providing the educational process with educational and methodological documentation, improving the pedagogical skills of teaching staff, improving the quality of all forms, types, and methods of educational work.
The main goal of methodological work is to provide the educational process with educational documents and pedagogical developments that contribute to the development of education, training, and student-centered assessment.
The tasks of methodological work are methodological support for the implementation of educational programs, curricula, and training programs, development of methodological works and tools, improvement of new methods and existing methods, implementation of learning strategies, tools of the educational process, distance learning using information and communication technologies, as well as the development of innovative technologies and teaching aids, including online learning, development and improvement of the system for assessing educational achievements, skills and competencies of students, increasing the efficiency and quality of the educational process, continuous improvement of the methodological potential of the teaching staff based on improving the qualifications and professional skills of the teacher.
Methodological work is carried out in two directions: educational-methodological work and scientific-methodological work.
The content of educational-methodological work is the development of educational and methodological documentation to achieve the cognitive and developmental goals of students, providing the educational process with psychological-pedagogical, didactic-methodological, and educational materials. Educational-methodological work is aimed at direct methodological support of the educational process, improving the methodology of teaching academic subjects, introducing recommendations developed as a result of scientific-methodological work, aimed at improving the pedagogical qualifications of teaching staff, using innovative technologies and teaching methods.
Educational-methodological work includes the development of educational programs and curricula, creation of working programs for subjects, making changes and additions to existing programs, development and implementation of automated teaching aids and monitoring of educational-methodological and didactic materials for students and software products in the educational process.
Documents for organizing training sessions are intended to create calendar-thematic plans for academic subjects, for independent work of students, including methodological tools under the guidance of a teacher, and a schedule for submitting intermediate assignments. Preparation of educational and program documentation necessary for conducting training sessions: textbooks and educational materials, educational materials in electronic suppliers, tests, tools for course and diploma works (projects), methodological developments on the use of new technologies in educational materials, credit technology of education. distance learning, online learning, and other educational and methodological documents are included.
Scientific-methodological work is an activity to study and generalize the best practices of organizing the educational process, improving the forms and methods of organizing the pedagogical process, technologies, and measurements based on scientific hypotheses, research, and analysis of experience. Scientific-methodological work is aimed at the long-term development of the educational process, improving its content and teaching methods, searching for new provisions, laws, methods, forms, and means of organizing the educational process. Scientific-methodological work is carried out to develop strategic directions for improving the educational process.
Taking into account modern teaching methods and technologies, creating new curricula for subjects within the new content and developing regulatory documents governing all types of methodological activities, taking into account the requirements of state compulsory education standards, examining working curricula and working educational programs, quality of education, analyzing the level of educational achievements of recipients, monitoring the provision of the educational process with educational literature and scientific and methodological developments, developing criteria for assessing the quality of educational activities of teachers, writing and preparing for publication, editing, reviewing and evaluating textbooks and teaching aids, scientific and methodological articles and reports, organizing and conducting scientific and methodological conferences, seminars, webinars.
The subject cycle commission, the school of young teachers, and the leaders of advanced practice carry out methodological work in accordance with work plans.
